Kyoya's superior officer at the Shinjuku Police precinct and head of the station's homicide division. He was pals with Kyoya's late father. [Spoiler] During a trip in New York after his retirement from the force, he was nearly killed when Lisa Lewis tried to gun him down. [/Spoiler] [Spoiler] In the end, he is shot and killed by Kei Amami, who had received a heart transplant from his daughter Atsuko Narita, because she was having a conflict with Atsuko's personality.
