Hikiko Honjou

Hikiko was Aiko's mother and Asako's daughter. The two had moved to Mejiro Villa after Hikiko lost her husband, as a favor from the owner's son to Asako. After Asako dies, the stress causes Hikiko to break down more often, and she begins beating Aiko. Hikiko perished in the fire that engulfed Mejiro Villa when Aiko was 7 years old. [Spoiler] Like her daughter, Hikiko was sexually abused by Kanetsugu, then murdered after he deemded her a "nuisance". Her soul was then consumed by Aiko, possibly in an attempt at survival using the occult methods taught to Aiko by Kanetsugu. [/Spoiler]
