Joushuu Higashikata

東方 常秀

The second youngest Higashikata sibling and arguably the most spoiled. His typical disrespectful, selfish behavior is subdued with his older brother Joubin, whom he admires and seeks the approval of. He also gets into petty arguments with older sister Hato. Joushuu first meets Jousuke when he emerges from the earth near the Wall Eyes of Morioh before he's adopted into the Higashikata family, interrupting Joushuu’s comfortable lifestyle. Joushuu's hostility towards Jousuke is fuled by the twisted romantic feelings he harbors for his childhood friend and crush, Yasuho, who constantly declines his advances and prefers Josuke. Surprisingly, Joushuu is a university student majoring in sociology. He has a fear of flying in a plane and doesn’t believe in god either.
Joushuu is a Stand user who wields Nut King Call (ナット・キング・コール). Its ability allows it to conjure nuts and bolts, which can then be embedded into targets, including other humans, to disassemble them into pieces, or connect them together. The ability automatically loses affect once the target is out of range.

Joushuu displays some rare moments of strategic intelligence and heroicness, albeit for his own benefit, such as when he undergoes an equivalent exchange with Yasuho without realizing the severity of it.
