Previously, he was in a happy relationship. However, his sudden ability to hear others' thoughts without stop has turned him into an introvert. He becomes close with Hasebe after hearing his inner thoughts and worries that he's put himself in a bad position that may hurt Hasebe. In the drama CDs he's voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya.
