Maria's Brother

Four years prior to the beginning of the story, Maria's big brother dares himself to go into an abandoned house and bring back "treasure", as a test of courage. [Spoiler] He is consumed by the monsters lurking around. The only thing of his ever found is his knife. [/Spoiler]
