Ryouko Umie

Ryouko Umie is a librarian is Kyousuke's school. Her sister Shouko was murdered a few years back. [Spoiler] Zashiko isn't dead and "the girl in the rain" that Kyousuke saw is not a ghost. She is actually alive, but in a near death stated. The distortion in the world made possible for her to be in her present state. The White Queen is the mastermind behind all this. She told Kyousuke that he can travel back in time via the distortion to save this girl life, but if he did do that, then the past would have changed, and it will affect the future in some way or other in the form of the "Butterfly Effect."
