Tsukihiko

Though Tsukihiko comes from another village, he travels to the one Asahi ends up in and asks to be assigned as her caretaker. He senses the emotions of other people and is able to communicate with Asahi even after the Water Dragon God takes away her voice. He is 10 years older than Asahi. [Spoiler] Kogahiko's mother was Yuki Mano, a doctor from modern day Japan who also suddenly found herself in the other world and lived out the remainder of her life there. He offers to be Asahi's caretaker in order to understand more about his mother. [/Spoiler]
