She has 3 triplet brothers a year younger than her, as well as 2 twin sisters. Because of her situation as an older sister, she convinced herself at a young age that it was her duty to act maturely and ensure that she prioritized their happiness, even at the expense of her own feelings. Thus, she is extremely serious, hardworking and stern, and displays a very stoic facade. She became the manager of the Ryuhoku's basketball club to support Kido, the team captain, whom she admires and had a secret crush on. She ends up, unintentionally, catching the attention of Shou Naruse, and falling in love with him, against her hopes, even if she refuses to admit it to herself at the beginning of the story. Shou's immaturity and persistence, as well as her love for him, cause her to have occasional emotional outbursts, bringing down her stoic facade, and allowing her true feelings to surface. [Spoiler] After going around in circles with her own feelings several times, she finally admits and faces the fact that she loves Shou, and confesses to him. They start dating right after, although their relationship doesn't change much to what it already was, and that Yuki keeps calling him by his surname. [/Spoiler]
